Reviews & Submissions

TxYxS reviews. We almost never give 'bad' reviews. The reason for the this is that we sort of choose the stuff we review, and it is usually music that we are into. We totally accept band and/or label promos, but we cann't review all of them, the main criteria being 1. the band being somewhat relevant and 2. the increasing amount of digital submissions.

In general, we specialize in hardcore of all kinds, as well as some hardcore-oriented metal. This doesn't mean we won't review some all-out metal (i.e. thrash and some death/black metal), but that's probably all... In general, the bands we review are the bands we like and want to promote, so if you dig what we do and are into the same stuff, then definitely get in touch.

sumbissions. We do accept digital promos in downloadable or stream form, but unfortunately due to the increasing amount of submissions we can't guarantee a review. If your want to secure a review, then please take the trouble to send us a physical review copy. If that is the case, get in touch for our address.


contributions. We have steadily built up a small team which contributes articles, reviews, interviews etc for TYS. That is awesome and if you want to take part, you are welcome. If you have something interesting that you want to share, don't hesitate to contact us. It can also be great help for a band you like or a record that you think the world should listen to.
